Real Madrid versus. Galatasaray, 2013 UEFA Champions League: Half...

Galatasaray are in real danger after slipping two goals behind Real Madrid in the first half, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema doing the injury. The guests have, but, had in the same way many chances and really should've troubled Diego Lopez more. Cristiano Ronaldo was always planning to be described as a risk down the right against Albert Riera, and it was no surprise to see him start the scoring. Mesut Ozil enjoyed him through with an excellent ball, and the winger raised a wonderful processor over Fernando Muslera and in to the far corner to put Madrid forward. Galatasaray's gameplan was probably to expect their straight back four and midfield three can hold things tight, with Wesley Sneijder, Didier Drogba and Burak Yilmaz seeking to grab a target on the break. Their front three did indeed look hazardous, with Raphael Varane making a mistake in letting Didier Drogba to turn in to a good shooting situation, but the Ivorian fired his shot wastefully within the bar. The other part of that approach was not performing as well, however, with Galatasaray's protection looking loose to express the smallest amount of. Jordan Essien was looking a huge risk for Madrid on the overlap, and it was the Ghanaian who put up an additional target for Madrid, straightening an excellent cross to the rear post which was calmly controlled and coolly finished by Karim Benzema, making Galatasaray in serious trouble. Nevertheless, the readers were still looking a threat heading forwards, and Drogba's power helped him to chip in a cross to Yilmaz 12 yards from target soon afterwards, but the person who was simply until Cristiano Ronaldo's operator combined top scorer in your competition set his volley vast. There was a straight better chance for Galatasaray just afterwards too, as Emmanuel Eboue built development down the right with a buccaneering run, playing a one-two with Drogba to get into the location with a definite chance much too easily, but his fierce drive was right at Lopez and Real Madrid were let off once more.
