Derek Jeter is definite he'll come back to the Brand New York Yankees this season at exactly the same level that made him among baseball's most respected players. In a jocular mood and carrying pinstriped shorts, a training jacket and cap, Jeter expressed disappointment in learning a week ago that there is a fresh break in the leg, a personal injury that has sidelined him since Game hands down the AL championship series. He likely will soon be out until following the All-Star break. However, he never wavered in his confidence that he'll run a' with no limp a to the shortstop position that has been his since 1996. "When you have doubt, that is when you are in big trouble. I have been told this bone will cure, and when it heals I will prepare yourself to go," Jeter said Thursday. "It is annoying I am unable to magically make it heal earlier than it is taken." He'll spend at the very least the 10-game homestand in New York. "It is tough never to be around the team," Jeter said.
