Magic Numbers: QPR - Everton Football Club

Everton welcome struggling QPR to Goodison Park on Saturday hoping to close the gap on their rivals for European qualification.

It won't be easy – in three games since their promotion to the Premier League in 2011, the Blues are yet to defeat the Loftus Road outfit.

1 Games in Everton history when more than one goal has been scored and all have been own goals. The 1-1 draw between the two teams at Loftus Road last October saw the unlucky Leighton Baines credited with an own goal after two minutes, before the Toffees equalised through a Sylvain Distin header that went in via the post and Rs keeper Julio Cesar.

5 Previous Premier League meetings between the two teams at Goodison Park, with Everton winning one but losing three. Our only victory came in November 1995, Graham Stuart and Paul Rideout getting the goals to defeat Rangers 2-0.

11 Seconds it took Colin Clarke to score for Bournemouth on Harry Redknapp's first visit to Goodison Park as a manager in September 1985. The goal remains the quickest scored on the ground in a first-team game. The Toffees eventually won the League Cup encounter 3-2 after trailing 2-0. Curiously, we beat QPR 4-3 at home later in the season after trailing by the same scoreline.

20 Years since the last Premier League hat-trick scored against Everton at Goodison Park, Bradley Allen netting all three goals in QPR's 3-0 victory in November 1993.

28 Years since Everton were crowned league champions after defeating QPR 2-0 on May Bank Holiday Monday in 1985. Derek Mountfield and Graeme Sharp got the goals that afternoon, prompting wild scenes of celebration at Goodison Park.

48 Meetings between the two teams in all competitions. Everton have won 21 of those, six more than Saturday's opponents.

49 League goals scored for Everton this season, after 31 games. Our record total in the Premier League was 64 in 1995/96, while the most prolific season under David to date was 2009/10 when the Blues hit 60.
