Real Madrid, who have secured a place in the Champions League semi-final and avoided a clash with arch-rivals Barcelona, are disturbed by speculation linking Mourinho with a move away from the Bernabeu.
So much so, that even Mourinho admitted this week that speculation is doing him and the club no good and he intends to sit down with the Real Madrid president Florentino Perez at the end of the current campaign.
Despite a disappointing league campaign following last season's triumph in La Liga, Mourinho is still highly thought of inside the Bernabeu and adored by the fans.
