Is FC Barcelona a man group - Keeda of Sports (blog)

The Champions League quarterfinals have arrived at a finish and we have a semifinal line up comprising of two Germans groups in the shape of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich and two Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid. It wasnat precisely hanging around for many of these, except Bayern Munich. Dortmund pulled off a miracle by scoring twice in stoppage time. Madridistas will need to have also had their minds inside their teeth when Drogba and Sneijder scored in quick succession for Galatasaray before Cristiano Ronaldo scored again in stoppage time to make sure Madrid reached the semifinals. Today, the primary focus of rivalry could be the game between PSG and FC Barcelona. There clearly was a marked contrast in the two legs. The initial leg at Parc de Princes saw Barcelona at their best and they focused PSG. Had it not been for a Valdes error, they'd have taken a 2-1 lead back again to the Nou Camp. However it ended 2-2. The second leg found Barcelona rule in terms of possession, which isnat a shock, but because they struggled to score what was surprising was their performance in the ultimate third. The difference between the two feet was a particular Lionel Messi, who wasn't on the frequency in the leg. When Vilanova released Messi in the 62nd second, it appeared as though a different Barcelona were playing. Perhaps the atmosphere round the stadium improved, we are brought by which to the question: Is FC Barcelona a really one guy team? There with the kind of Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Fabregas and the list could go on and on, is zero doubt concerning the type which Barcelona includes. Since it is today but may the Barcelona without Messi be as dominant a power? Could it be the most dreaded side in world soccer? For me personally the clear answer isn't Any. Barcelona seems to find it difficult to score without Messi. Xavi and Iniesta are good people but they need assistance from Lionel Messi as it pertains to rating. Many individuals think itas another way round but Messi has shown that he can report goals when Iniesta and Xavi arenat in the starting lineup. Messi may be the driver which Barcelona must accomplish. This could also be tested when we look eventually yearas semi final, where Chelsea properly kept Lionel Messi quiet and didnat let him report, which finally led to Barcelona falling apart and also escaping the competition And if we look at Real Madridas success, and for that matter every other teamas success against Barcelona, it's mostly been down to Messi doing like only mortal rather than a superhuman which he performs like day in and day out. Lionel Messi hasnat won against Chelsea however and Chelsea has received a fantastic history against Barcelona in the recent years. Even yet in the quarter final 1st knee against Milan, Messi wasn't at his best. But his second knee performance was definitely brilliant and the effect was there for all folks to see. Many people might argue that Messi is such a world class player that he'll quickly influence the team performance, no matter what team he plays for. This may be true, but doesnat this automatically prove the fact Barcelona are over-dependent on Messi to do? And your day his performance dips, the entire teamas performance dips. This definitely needs to be described as a indicate fear for only the most enthusiastic of Barcelona fans. Although he is just 25 years old, Messi wonat be there forever. And people like him donat come around often. FC Barcelona is being called the best team ever to play soccer, even better than the Milan team in the 90s and 2000s and the Brazilian team of 60s and 70s. These teams performed even though their star players were missing. For Barcelona to be counted amongst the greatest ever, in my opinion they need to play well without Lionel Messi; they need to start winning as dominantly without him as they do with him to help keep their authorities silent. Otherwise, Barcelona may always be remembered as a great team but the one that was always dependent on Lionel Messi.
