Ajax coach Frank de Boer has welcomed stories connecting him to Manchester City but suggested he'd not be prepared to leave Amsterdam during this period. De Boer has led Ajax to two Eredivisie titles since taking charge of the club this season, and has been recommended as a potential successor to Roberto Mancini at the Etihad Stadium. However, even though he's indicated a pastime in major City, De Boer doesn't seem to be prepared to go from the Netherlands. "Manchester City are some thing I do want to do, yes, nonetheless it is burdensome for me to maneuver my loved ones abroad at the moment," he said in the Sunday Mirror. "I have to consider others, not merely myself." Ajax manager Marc Overmars said: "Am I worried? Perhaps not for losing Frank now, but City is a major rival for his signature in the near future." It remains unclear whether Mancini will still be responsible at City next time, but midfielder David Silva has provided his assistance to the Italian. "I don't know why Mancini doesn't get credit, nevertheless the people certainly enjoy him," the Spain star said. "We are with him and together we're a group. "The players give all of the credit to him to be the main success we have achieved. That success has been done together. All professionals will vary. Players are criticised by some more widely, while others get it done in the club. For me personally, it's each to their own." He added: "We are building a group and a club and we will win many, many more titles."
