Dejagah ruled out for rest of season says Fulham manager Jol - Yahoo! Singapore News

Fulham director Martin Jol has established that Ashkan Dejagah will miss out the remaining Premier League season after keeping an ankle ligament injury throughout the 3-2 triumph over QPR on April 1. Dejagah, who signed for the Cottagers from Wolfsburg in the beginning of the summer season, has fascinated fans with his pace and targeting objective but will need an operation to fix the injury suffered when he collided with an advertising hoarding. "Ashkan Dejagah requires a surgical procedure on his foot ligament," Jol told reporters. "That will be next week and I believe he will be out for the remaining season." Since joining the west London club for a reported cost of about A2.1 million, Dejagah has yet to find the back of the web in 24 games for the club. Jol also said that midfielder Eyong Enoh is a uncertainty for their trip to Aston Villa, where he says they need another gain to make sure their Premier League position for next year. "We can do an evaluation tomorrow," Jol included. "He could probably play but we're uncertain yet. "I feel we truly need still another gain as you never know. Genuinely we are great but if everybody else starts earning in the last six or seven matches then you might have trouble. "Hopefully we will obtain a handful of effects next week or so. Overall we have done well overseas. There have been a lot of draws and also at Newcastle we could have done better. It is frustrating to concede in the 93rd moment. "[Aston Villa] have got quality. They have [Christian] Benteke, [Gabriel] Agbonlahor, actually [Darren] Bent on the seat. In the event that you look at their effects, especially at home, they're okay".
