Brendan Rodgersa plan for Liverpool a' Part 2

Examine part one of many Brendan Rodgersa meeting. In the very first part of this meeting, Brendan Rodgers mentioned the way the supporters of the membership took his project and style of baseball. He also discussed Liverpool legends Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley. When asked about Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho, he believed both are great signings and how that has been also great company for the team. Brendan Rodgers Charge was taken by brendan Rodgers at Liverpool in June 2012 following departure of Kenny Dalglish. His first aggressive match a Liverpool boss got against FC Gomel in the Europa League. In the Premier League, his first game was lost by him against West Brom. As part of Yahooas deal with League Managers Association, they have talked with Brendan Rodgers and mentioned his plans for the team. Here's part two of the trancript of his interview: Question: Is Luis Suarez probably the most gifted player you have ever worked with? Brendan Rodgers: Iave so that it could be disrespectful to single out the best been luckily enough to utilize a lot of really good players. What I'm confident of however, is his warrior spirit and I love his humility, work charge, attitude to training and his desire to be successful. He has a real determination and responsibility to accomplish well for Liverpool and that side of his game definitely sets him up there with the top Iave worked with. He's definitely one of the mentally strong and most naturally gifted people I've ever worked with. Q: Has he impressed enough to win the PFA person of the year award and you think he will? BR: He will undoubtedly maintain the reckoning. His group goals alone should place him in with a fantastic shout but you also need to look at his consistency throughout the period that produces him perhaps the most effective player. You can find other competitors of course; players like Gareth Bale have been remarkable for Tottenham for example, but I believe that Luisa consistency and the influence he's had for us this year means that he would be my candidate to get. Brendan Rodgers gives a light hearted minute with Luis Suarez Q: Suarez isnat always well-liked by opposing players and supporters, is that some thing he is able to turn and route into a positive? BR: I know what it had been like when I confronted him being an opposing director, I always viewed him as a bug around the penalty area and you know that people like that usually have the product quality to score at any give time. You can see why therefore many people love him, when you know him as a person and as a man like we do here. Itas maybe not his job to be enjoyed, heall be respected because heas a top soccer player and it wonat worry him too much if people donat like him. He's a player who has excellent humility, I see the guy daily and Iave worked with countless junior and senior people and he's one of the most nice, most modest people Iave encounter. He's also a multi-talented footballer who indicates that he's at some sort of class level now. The likability of any player is always up for debate, and people can always use their particular ethical compass to judge Luis Suarez, but thatas not something I tend to focus on. I concentrate on what he is as with me on a day-to-day basis and he is an excellent man. Q: Might you argue that has been Steven Gerrardas best when it comes to persistence and leadership? BR: Itas been his best season in relation to the number of activities heas played a' he has played every minute of every game for us this season, and as a leader of the team he's been enormous. It's been a genuine privilege to work well with some body of this quality and quality. Again, the mark of the person is he is just a very humble man. This year he's obtained goals, produced possibilities, is still a worldwide captain and at 32 still has the determination, drive and hunger to be better. Heas had an outstanding season and Iam certain heall continue to get better over the coming seasons. Q: Jamie Carragher retires at the end of the season, what size a loss will he be not merely on the paying part but additionally in the dressing room? BR: Heall be considered a large loss due to the amount of time he has been at the club. Itas very difficult to say that a new player is important because the character of football means that some body usually steps in to take the shirt and gives varying elements to your staff. I will skip Jamieas drive and determination that he's found since Iave been here, and I know that's something he's been doing all his life. Weare going to miss his character but thatas our work, as a team, to appear to try and replace him. Jamie will continue steadily to conduct until the end of the period with the same drive and determination he's exhibited through his entire career, even at 35-years-old he's still performing at the very top level. Brendan Rodgers talks to Carragher and Gerrard during training at Melwood Q: How important is the redevelopment of Anfield to the clubs potential ability to compete financially? BR: We've two main objectives; one would be to arrive into the top four and the second reason is the redevelopment of Anfield. That will make a more impressive club to us economically and help us to compete more; we have to maintain building towards that. The clubs which can be competing in the Champions League have a huge advantage economically, an extra forty million pounds annually and more. Thatas a massive advantage in respect of getting new participants and we've to keep shooting for that purpose. We is likely to be in a good position as a club, if we can do that by the redevelopment of Anfield, aligned with top four basketball. Q: You be seemingly taking a long term approach to this job. Can you imagine yourself being here in a decade and where do you imagine Liverpool being by then? BR: I was expected to come in and build the membership within the long term. Iam fully aware but, in the short term you'll need to produce results. Of course this can be a club because it is among the several organizations in football I'd like to be at for an extended period of time. That is very much as a director a destination for me personally but I have got to show changes in the team on a yearly basis. Needless to say I'd like to be here long term, but clearly you have to look after the short term and show that growth. I think this year we have showed that development and I hope we can make more strides next year and keep carefully the team dancing.
