Brady Quinn and Seattle Seahawks Accept Terms

After spending quite some time searching for a backup for Russell Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks have finally decided on Brady Quinn. The team's formal Twitter bill gets the news: This clearly isn't a move that may set the category on fire, but it was one the 'Hawks had to make. After trading Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders, they certainly were left with Josh Portisa'and all zero of his career NFL snapsa'as the only real QB on the list besides Wilson. There were several exciting titles placed around previously week. But after passing on people like Tim Tebow and Matt Leinart, the Seahawks settled on Quinn. Jamie Squire/Getty Images In eight begins with the Kansas City Chiefs last year, the former Notre Dame star created accurate documentation of 1-7. He concluded 56.9 per cent of his moves for 1,141 yards, two touchdowns and nine interceptions. When all was done and said, he had an average QB ranking of 60.1 and a QBR of 27.4. Quinn has used five NFL months with three different groups, placed 12 touchdowns to 17 interceptions and has just four wins in 20 total begins. Again, nearly establishing the category unstoppable. But if Quinn ultimately ends up playing Flynnas 2012 part (nine move attempts in three activities), the one thing that'll issue is his power to hold on tight to a clipboard. Nevertheless, while Wilson is a budding superstar, he has a skill set that may leave him weak in the open area every once in a while. Finding a copy who at the least has on-field experience was some thing the Seahawks wanted to do when possible. Today that theyave accomplished that, they can focus completely on the draft.
