What sort of first impression do you get? We rolled up at about 7pm on a Saturday, excellent eating-out-with-the-family time and found a place in the large, but very nearly complete, car parking. So it was immediately obvious that the restaurant, a sizable, neatly-presented, building, was likely to be busy. So how welcoming were the staff? When we entered we were met by a greeter who cheerfully found our reservation on the number and brought us through the bustling restaurant to your table. The dAcor was smart without being overly formal, with mild light, a number of sitting and various areas, ideal for parties of varying sizes. We got a table by way of a window with views over the beer garden, which at the moment of year was obviously virtually empty. Does it deliver? With pretty much most of the tables filled with a mix of couples and family groups with older and young children the place really was busy. Everybody else was having a great time and within 10 minutes our beginner arrived and proved just ideal for people. After devouring the massive plate we were desperate to access it with our mains, each charged between A7.50 and A10, and while they appeared piping hot within a few minutes of our beginning being cleared away again we weren't unhappy.
