Utah soccer instructor charged with sexual abuse of woman on his staff...

A Bountiful man has been charged by prosecutors with allegedly sexually abusing a lady who played on his soccer team for three years, when she was 13 years old starting. Steven Dale Green was charged with 14 matters, each regarding some type of sexual abuse, on Friday in 2nd District Court. Most of the expenses are first-degree felonies and hold a possible life sentence. Pictures According to a cause affidavit, Green, 41, allegedly began making love with a 13-year-old person on his team in 2008. Green was a friend of the girlas family, and nearly all of the encounters occurred at Greenas house, happening "almost every day" until 2011, when the woman was 17, in line with the affidavit. Police arrested Green a week ago at the South Davis Recreation Center, in accordance with arrest records. Plentiful Assistant Police Chief Ed Biehler explained Green was at the center to work out, and he did not feel Green worked as a coach for the center, which hosts youth soccer leagues in the spring. Green was arranged in to the Davis County jail. Detectives believe Green may still be a coach, nevertheless they were uncertain in what team or group he may be associated, Biehler said last week.
