Super Bowl L Awarded To … S . fransisco.

Anyone sunk my battleship! A Miami Dolphins, who couldn't get funding for a new stadium but managed have plans to engage in the Super Bowl while on an aircraft carrier, lost their bid to host Excellent Bowl L in 2016: Bay area will get the game much like a vote of NFL owners just moments in the past. They actually had a brilliant Bowl selection show, in case you didn't know. I mailed invitations but no one found my Super Bowl selection show party.

Then, the owners voted over the 2017 Super Bowl web site — Super Bowl LI. Miami also lost that a person, with the game becoming awarded to Houston.

Both came over the first ballot (75 percent with the owners must agree for ones game to be awarded). A final time a Super Bowl was awarded to the first ballot was ten years ago, when Glendale, AZ got the adventure.

Quite a turn of events in San francisco bay area, whose new stadium in Santa Clara is going to be ready in 2014. Immediately they're playing in Candlestick Park, which is also state-of-the-art — if you're surviving in the post-apocalypse.

Another fun fact: No NFL team has played in the Super Bowl hosted by its own city. The closest was San francisco bay area for Super Bowl XIX in 1985, when the game was played at Stanford Ground in Palo Alto, which is about 30 miles southern.

The 49ers beat the Dolphins that year, who were quarterbacked of course as a result of Dan Marino. And Marino was part of the Miami group making the bid for the 2016 and '17 Extremely Bowls. Next time maybe they'll get Bob Griese?

"Congratulations to San francisco bay area and Houston on Superb Bowl L and LI. However, we don't think there's a better place near your vicinity to host Super Bowl than the following in South Florida. I'm sure grateful for the diligence and creative energy that South Florida Super Toilet Host Committee showed on their bid. Today's decision doesn't dampen our enthusiasm to pursue Super Bowls down the road, since we are steadfast in this belief that those games are good for the South Florida city. "

I trust most of the potential Super Bowl host cities were suffering from a rigorous hosting merge. HOW HIGH CAN JACKSONVILLE HOP?!?!
